The Holocaust Resource Center of Temple Judea is dedicated to:

  • The memory of six million Jewish Men, women and children who were murdered in ghettos, concentration and death camps
  • Survivors who rose from the ashes of Auschwitz, Belzec, Chmelno, Majdaek, Sobibor and Treblinka
  • "Righteous of the Nations" who risked their lives to save Jews from the hands of the Nazi murderers
  • Allied soldiers who destroyed Nazi tyranny

The mission of the Center is to educate young and old on the evils of prejudice, to teach the lessons of the Holocaust and to combat ignorance, hatred and violence.

The Center provides:

  • Lectures by historians, scholars and educators
  • Testimony by Holocaust survivors
  • Permanent historical exhibits
  • Changing contemporary art exhibits
  • Student art workshops
  • Speakers for schools, civic and religious groups
  • Teacher training programs for all levels
  • Permanent historical exhibits
  • Changing contemporary art exhibits
  • Testimony by Holocaust survivors

The Center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; Sundays and evenings by appointment; and closed Saturdays. Special considerations are made to accommodate group visits. Please call.
