Welcome

The EEV was developed in 1990 to create a learning place of the future with natural partnerships between K-12, higher education, cultural and community partners and the people of community. We have had so many successful collaborative projects over the years, several grants, the honor of being archived at the Smithsonian as part of their permanent research archive for innovations, and have shared with many people a real rethinking of the relationships of learners in community and what we can do, learn, and contribute together. We also have special National Endowment for the Humanities project called Rembrandt and Collections of his Art in America. If you would like a glimpse at our past, see our 2000 Smithsonian contribution here.

Information on the EEV can be obtained by writing to Dr. Bette Schneiderman at bes@liu.edu.
