We expect only highly energized, highly motivated, creative and positive people to join us in T.E.A.M. We assume attendance and participation; we challenge all team students to assume ownership of their own learning and to thrive. It is our expectation that all students will be at their class location, ready to go, at 4:30 p.m. each class night. Attendance and lateness will be considered as a part of your grading for the semester. Two or more absences will necessitate a conversation with a member of the faculty-mentor team.
If you must be absent, let us know and also contact at least three people in class to attend class knowing they will be reporting to you afterwards. Ask them to take notes with you in mind. After class immediately be in touch with these people and catch up as if you, too, were there. Never wait for the next session!
Participation is easy. Just participate with an interest in your own growth and the learning that happens when a group of people build something very special together.
Join us when you can and as you are interested.
Your grades may also be affected by timeliness. You are expected to be at all classes and all workshops on time. You are also expected to turn all assignments in on time. Failure to do so will affect your course grades.
Grades permissible are A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, D, F, INC (Incomplete). You will take 12 courses in your degree with us. More than one grade of C or lower will result in not graduating.
If we give a grade of INC (incomplete), it will need to come along with a contract signed by you and your instructor telling what more you must do to have your grade converted and by what date.
