"I liked learning
about Abstract Art. It's colorful. Anyone can be an
abstract artist, even a baby scribblings are abstract.
You can draw whatever you want that's in your mind. I
liked Eileen from Heckscher, she was nice. She lets us
draw whatever we wanted too. I really liked working with
Pastels. My favorite Betty Parson drawing was Tropical
because it had a lot of shapes." |

"I
think it was fun to go to the Hekscher Museum of Art. I
like the colors Betty Parson used in her paintings. I
like her art work. I like the art I saw. It was very fun
to go to the museum. I did a pastel drawing of shapes
like a triangle, rectangle, and square." Jordan, a fifth grader from Wyndanch School in Mrs. Lyons class. |
