Geography

The name of my country is Tanzania. The capital of my country is called Dodoma.

The population of my country is 35.3 million is growing at 2.6%. The life expectency is 51.32 years (males),  female 53.23 years (2000 est.).

Holidays

Some of the holidays are New Years Day like us, another one is Zanzibar Revolution Day  on( Jan 12), Union Day (April 26), Labor Day(May1), Saba Saba - it's really called Farmer's Day (July7), Nane Nane International Trade Day  

Children's Rights

The girls of Kenya have less rights then the boys. The girls have to raise a family. So they have to help around the house at twelve. Most women in Kenya drop out at twelve from school. And eighty percent can't read.  Boys usually, if the family has enough money, go to college .

Language

The languages of Tanzania are.... well, here is one of them, its called Kiswahilli. It is one of the most spoken in their country. Another one is called Swahili . Their are only 4 different languages. Here is  another -only one more after this one.... so its called Kiunguja. Last but not least in their country most of them speak English.

Food

The staple food is called Ugali, it is made out of corn, sorghum or millet (usually flour is common). A  popular dish is called Pilau, its flavored rice.

 Arts

Tanzanians love to paint animals. They also paint Makonde people.
