Geography

Scotland's capital city is Edinburgh.   Scotland is in the southern hemisphere. Europe is the continent Scotland is located on. Also the neighboring country of Scotland is England 

  The North Seais one major body of water, the Severn and Thames are major rivers.  There are rugged hills, low granite mountains, rolling plains, fields of flat land in the east, and southwest.

The amount of people living in  Scotland is 5.1 million!!

Climate

The typical weather patterns are very interesting. Winters are always mild, summers are cool and the rain is divided throughout the year. Usually the climate in Scotland is cool. 

Religion

The major religion practiced in Scotland is Christianity.

Cultural Arts

Scotland has the Scottish  National Portrait Gallery and the St. Mungus Museum. Probably most of you have heard of this artifact but don't know where it is located. The name of this artifact is Stone Henge and is located in Scotland.

Food

Some of the amazing dishes( in my opinion) are: scottish oats, scones, and scotch eggs.

Language

The languages that are spoken in Scotland are these: Scot Gaelic, Scots, English, and Welsh.
