Some of the important castles in Ireland are the Blarney Castle, the Ross Castle and Bunratty Castle.

One of the holidays celebrated in Ireland is St. Patrick's Day.  This is also celebrated all over the world.  On St. Patrick's Day they have many parades. They dress in the color green. Green represents St. Patrick. Some symbols of St. Patrick's Day is leprechauns, four leaf clovers and three leaf clovers. A festival celebrated in Ireland is a day that they remember the Great Famine Ireland. " The Great Famine" means that all of the crops dried out and there was no food! The Horror! Many people died in this famine so on a certain days/week people remember all of their lost loved ones.
