The climate is not that harsh because
of all the water and the lakes. Winters are cold and it is average. In the
winter the temperatures are below zero. Not like the U.S. There are
occasional warm spells. The summer is way different then the U.S. They are
short and cool. The temperatures go from 63°F -68°F. There are no natural
disasters. Not like the U.S.

currency my country uses is Markkaa. One Finland markkaa
equals .18 cents.

telecommunications, timber and paper products.
Government
The way the laws of
Finland are made is based on the Swedish law. the government of
Finland is a Democratic republic. Te president is elected by a
popular vote and is elected for 6 years.

are Golfing and Skiing. Just like America.

Communication
When
parties meet each other they just have a short but firm hand shake.
When they shake hands they make eye contact with each other. A
nod is not enough. Hand-kissing is rare. That's how they do it in
America. But can I tell you something that isn't like America. They
bow for respect. That's how they do it in Japan!!! The children also
have to shake hands. When a man is greeted by a woman they have to
take off their hat.

Finland is Finnish, Lappish and Sweden. English is built in tourists
establishments.
