Create a Children's Book: A-Z of Children's Rights
As a class, you will create and publish a children's picture book, entitled Kids for Kenya: The A-Z Book of Children's Rights.
Each letter should represent one or part of one of the articles from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, for example:
Adults should do what is best for us
Be kind to us and help us in times of trouble
Care for us when we are sick
and so on.*
You should spend time exploring Know Your Rights Each one of you will submit a list of A-Z rights. You may work with a partner. Book editors (Mrs. Ruggiano, Mrs. Kliegman and Mrs. Forte) will select 26 rights from your submissions, after which each of you will be assigned to illustrate one of the final 26 rights in our book.
