We are looking for classes located in the 13 states of the original colonies to participate in this project. We hope to share and exchange information to help learn about the other colonies.
Family names listed in this project are real colonial family names from New York. If your class is located in another of the 13 colonies states, you may be able to find information about some of the original colonists by searching the web. You may also use fictional family names. The objective is to have students research information based on the colonial history of their state.
Diary entries by your students can be exchanged via email. If you would like to set this up, please click on the email icon to the left and we can discuss how we can facilitate this.
If you would like your class to participate in this project please go to: MidLink Magazine's participation page at http://www.ncsu.edu/midlink/mail.inst.htm. Fill out the information required and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
You may participate by doing the entire project or just a part of it. For further inquiries please email the project webmaster by clicking on the emai icon to the left.
Passport to Colonial Times is a registered project at MidLink Magazine.
