“If you save one life, it is as if you saved the world."

This is the amazing story of Chiune Sugiara, a remarkable man who saved thousands of Jews.

The year was 1940, the beginning of World War II. Japan sent Chuine Sugiara, a Japanese diplomat to Lithuania. Jewish lives were threatened and they were desperate to escape the Nazi threat. Despite orders from the Japanese government not issue visas, Sugihara could not allow the Jews to die. He made the crucial decision to issue the visas that save thousands of lives.

Let the world know the name “Sugiara.” This compassionate and kind selfless hero put himself and his family at risk so that thousands of doomed Jews could be saved during the Holocaust.

Let us never forget!

“Even a hunter cannot kill a bird that comes to him for refuge.”
