Childbridge for Children's Rights is an online shared learning project created by Searingtown School's Karen Kliegman, Library Media Specialist, and Beth Williams, Art Teacher, intended to provide teachers and upper elementary students with the resources and motivation to make a difference in the lives of children around the world. Through research, art making and writing, students will explore and reflect on issues surrounding the rights of the child.

Through a grant from Teaching Tolerance, fifth grade students at Searingtown School will create a children's picture book focused on children's rights. The book will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to an organization concerned with helping children in need.
